Alongside WRLDCHNGRS, the Under Our Wings team joins willing local volunteers and feeds hundreds of hungry individuals at the Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen. At this monthly event, the team entertains the crowd with exciting trivia and fun giveaways as they wait in line for their food. The kids are gifted with an Avian Kingdom book and activity kit and participate in a live reading of one of the tales on the Avian Kingdom Literacy Bus. This event is full of activities for individuals and families alike.
Loaves and Fishes is held every second Saturday of the month and volunteers are also welcome. The event typically runs from 6AM to 9AM at 2009 Congress Ave, Houston, TX 77002. We'd love for you to come join us.
